INDICATIONS
It is indicated for theileriosis (East coast fever, corridor disease, zimbabwen theileriosis, tropical theileriosis) caused by intracellular protozoan parasites theileria parvatheileria parva bovis, theileria parva lawrencei, t.annulata, t.mutans and t.orientalis sergenti in cattle. It is active agains both the schizont and piroplasm stages of theileria spp., and may be used during the incubation period of the disease, or when clinical signs are apparent.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Due to the inhibiting effects of theileriosis on the immune system, vaccination should be delayed until the animal has recovered from theileriosis.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
A single dose of 1 ml bupacin injection per 20 kg bodyweight.
(2.5 mg buparvaquone per kg bodyweight). In severe cases the treatment may be repeated within 48-72 hours. Not more than 10 ml should be injected in to a single site.
Successive injections should be administered at different sites.

INDICATIONS
For the treatment of theileriosis (east coast fever) particularly for advanced cases with pulmonary oedema. Buparvaquone kills theilerial schizonts (in lymphoid cells) and piroplasms (in red blood cells) and it supresses preschizont stages during the Incubation period of disease. Buparvaquone kill the parasite through its actions on their mitochondrial electron transport (respiratory) system. Furosemide is a diuretic, which resolves pulmonary oedema.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Injection by the Intramuscular route into the neck muscles at the rate of 1 ml/20 kg (2.5 mg per kg of buparvaquone and 2.75 mg/kg of furosemide).Repeat after 48 hours.
In cases of exceptionally severe infections with pulmonary oedema, further treatment at half the dosage rate may be required at 24 hour interval.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Milk for human consumption should not be taken from animals treated with BUPACIN PLUS until atleast 48 hours after treatment. Milk for animals treated with BUPACIN PLUS is safe for consumption by calves. Animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption until at least 42 days after treatment with BUPACIN PLUS.
WARNING / PRECAUTION
Localised swelling may occur at Injection sites but it resolves in a few days. BUPACIN PLUS is very safe so overdosage is unlikely to cause significant adverse effect.

INDICATIONS
BUTACIN is indicated for debilitation by acute or chronic metabolism disorders that result from poor nutrition, inadequate management or disease (e.g. developmental and nutritional disorders in young animals due to rearing disease, and (secondary) ketosis in cows). It can be used for metaphylaxis of infertility, puerperal diseases and in support of sterility treatment. It acts as a roborant in cases of stress, overexertion, exhaustion and reduced resistance and as a tonic in cases of weakness, secondary anaemia and chilling.
BUTACIN additionally supports muscular physiology, the treatment of infertility, and tetany and paresis as an adjunct to calcium and magnesium therapy.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS
It is safe for use in Cattle and Sheep at the recommended dosages. However, if the recommended dose rates are exceed animals may exhibit signs of impaired motor function such as muscle tremors, head shaking and increased salivation which are of temporary nature.
Although normally non-irritant, it may occasionally cause local reaction at the site of the Injection; this should resolve naturally in a short period of time.
Care should be taken to estimate accurately the bodyweight of animals to be treated before calculating the dosage. INDICATIONS
Amikacin is used clinically to treat serious gram negative infections in most species. It is often used in settings where gentamicin-resistant bacteria are a clinical problem. The inherent toxicity of the aminoglycosides limit their systemic use to serious infections when there is either a documented lack of susceptibility to other less toxic antibiotics or when the clinical situation dictates immediate treatment of a presumed gram negative infection before culture and susceptibility results are reported. Amikacin is also approved for Intrauterine infusion in mares.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Aminoglycosides are contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to them. Because these drugs are often the only effective agents in severe gramnegative infections there are no other absolute contraindications to their use. However, they should be used with extreme caution in patients with preexisting renal disease with concomitant monitoring and dosage interval adjustments made. Other risk factors for the development of toxicity include age (both neonatal and geriatric patients), fever, sepsis and dehydration.

INDICATIONS
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by trimethoprim and sulfadiazine sensitive micro-organisms like E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in Calves, Sheep, Goats, Poultry and Swine.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulphonamides.
- Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic function or with blood dyscrasias.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration:
Calves, Goats and Sheep : Twice daily, 5 g per 100 kg body weight for 4 - 7 days.
Poultry and Swine : 1 kg per 1500 - 2500 litres of drinking water for 4 - 7 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant Calves, Lambs and Kids only.

INDICATIONS

1 g Trisulfacin ws per 2-4 litres of drinking water to be given as follows :
3 days treatment, 2 days without treatment, then 2 days treatment.

1 g Trisulfacin ws per 5 kg body weight daily for 3-4 days.
Warning : Not to be used in poultry producing eggs for human consumption.

- Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines and /or tylosin.
- Administration to animals with an active microbial digestion.

INDICATIONS
VITCIN WS is a highly effective combination of broad-spectrum antibiotics and vitamins. The product stimulates egg production, increases growth, improves feed conversion and is used as a vitamin supplement during periods of diseases and stress. It is active against Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary infections caused by oxytetracycline and neomycin sensitive micro-organinsms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in Calves, Goats, Sheep, Poultry and Swine.

INDICATIONS
VIT-K WS is indicated in the treatment and prevention of haemorrhages associated with vitamin K deficiency or intestinal parasitic infections such as coccidiosis, and as an antagonist for anticoagulant poisoning (e.g. due to rodenticide toxicity, sweet clover poisoning or treatment with sulfaquinoxaline) in Calves, Cattle, Goats, Poultry, Sheep and Swine.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to Menadione sodium bisulfite.
- Administration to Horses (especially intravenously) or to animals with seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic functions.
