For the treatment of theileriosis (east coast fever) particularly for advanced cases with pulmonary oedema. Buparvaquone kills theilerial schizonts (in lymphoid cells) and piroplasms (in red blood cells) and it supresses preschizont stages during the Incubation period of disease. Buparvaquone kill the parasite through its actions on their mitochondrial electron transport (respiratory) system. Furosemide is a diuretic, which resolves pulmonary oedema.

Injection by the Intramuscular route into the neck muscles at the rate of 1 ml/20 kg (2.5 mg per kg of buparvaquone and 2.75 mg/kg of furosemide).Repeat after 48 hours.
In cases of exceptionally severe infections with pulmonary oedema, further treatment at half the dosage rate may be required at 24 hour interval.

Milk for human consumption should not be taken from animals treated with BUPACIN PLUS until atleast 48 hours after treatment. Milk for animals treated with BUPACIN PLUS is safe for consumption by calves. Animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption until at least 42 days after treatment with BUPACIN PLUS.

Localised swelling may occur at Injection sites but it resolves in a few days. BUPACIN PLUS is very safe so overdosage is unlikely to cause significant adverse effect.
BUPACIN PLUS must be administered only by the Intramuscular route. Intravenous Injection may cause severe shock. BUPACIN PLUS is poorly mobilised after subcutaneous injection and its curative effect is greatly reduced.
Furosemide is chemically similar to the sulphonamides so BUPACIN PLUS should not be used in animal with sulphonamide sensitivity.

Horses : The recommended dose for musculoskeletal disorders in Horses is 1.1 mg per kg of bodyweight once daily. Peak response occurs between 12 and 16 hours and duration of activity is 24-36 hours. The recommended dose for the alleviation of pain associated with equine colic is 1.1 mg per kg of bodyweight.
Intravenous administration is recommended for prompt relief. Clinical studies show pain is alleviated in less than 15 minutes in many cases. Treatment may be repeated when signs of colic recur. During clinical studies approximately 10% of the Horses required one or two additional treatments. The cause of colic should be determined and treated with concomitant therapy.

THIACIN 500 Injection provides the essential vitamin Thiamine. THIACIN 500 plays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, and energy production for all cells. Thiamine is most important in the breakdown of pyruvic acid, a waste product in hard working muscles, along with lactic acid.
In any situation where carbohydrates are the major energy source, or when glucose is added to the diet, thiamine requirement is increased significantly.
Thiamine is essential as part of the coenzyme which is involved in the breakdown of glucose for energy. Thiamine, in conjunction with Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is essential in the metabolism of proteins and amino acids, Thiamine has effects on all tissues. The most sensitive are nerves, stomach and heart. Thiamine can not store in the body, and it is rapidly absorbed from the intestine or blood, as well as from injection sites. Like all B Complex vitamins, Thiamine is water soluble, so it is rapidly absorbed and excreted from the body, and requires regular supplementation, especially in hard working animals when dietary input will probably not be sufficient. Thiamine is found in both meat and cereal products. Small amounts are manufactured in the gut, as long as Horses are not under stress. Thiamine in food is destroyed by cooking. High dose of thiamine are reported to help calm nervous or over excitable Horses. Clinical signs of thiamine deficiency include fatigue, muscle weakness, loss of appetite and increased heart rate. Pigs : Group treatment Piglets and fattening pigs : 30 ppm Flubendazole (600 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) in feed for 5 days. In case of severe infections with Trichuris suis, the animals should be treated for 10 days.
Breeding pigs : 30 ppm Flubendazole (600 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) in feed for 10 consecutive days. Individual and single administration : 5 mg/kg b.w. VITCIN WS is a highly effective combination of broad-spectrum antibiotics and vitamins. The product stimulates egg production, increases growth, improves feed conversion and is used as a vitamin supplement during periods of diseases and stress. It is active against Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary infections caused by oxytetracycline and neomycin sensitive micro-organinsms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in Calves, Goats, Sheep, Poultry and Swine.

• Hypersensitivity to tetracycline or aminoglycosides.
• Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic function.
• Concurrent administration of bactericidal agents like penicillins.
• Administration to animals with an active microbial digestion.

Poultry and Swine :
Prevention : 1 kg per 2000 litres of drinking water for 5-7 days.
Treatment : 1 kg per 1000 litres of drinking water for 5-7 days.

VIT-K WS is indicated in the treatment and prevention of haemorrhages associated with vitamin K deficiency or intestinal parasitic infections such as coccidiosis, and as an antagonist for anticoagulant poisoning (e.g. due to rodenticide toxicity, sweet clover poisoning or treatment with sulfaquinoxaline) in Calves, Cattle, Goats, Poultry, Sheep and Swine.
